With all the frost and frozen whiteness this last week I am reminded again what beautiful subtle shades are to be seen in snow. Although you think snow is white, there are gorgeous blues, purples and warm yellows in it. A few times this last week I have looked out of the window and Wow’d at the snow falling, the way the sunlight glistens on it, the way it brightens the landscape and turns winter greys to a winter wonderland.
It is a reminder too for me of a painting that has taken longer than I wanted to but is finally finished.
I even have a title, which always helps.
It isn’t ready to be shown to the world yet though. It has to wait a while.
But all good things are worth waiting for, aren’t they? 🙂
