On board

Poppy appealI’ve just had an email from the woman who organising the artboards this year  saying how fantastic all the boards are and she thinks its the best year ever and what talented people they have supporting the festival. She thanked us for all the time and effort we put into producing the boards and thinks the general public are in for a treat. She hoped we enjoyed the experience, especially the new painters and that we will all want to take part again next year.  I thanked her for giving me the opportuniaty to do it and said how much I’d enjoyed it. She’s told me where my artboard will be hung in the town and I can’t wait to see it in-situ. Photos and details to follow in my next blog post!

This last couple of days I’ve been busy sorting out which pictures are going in which exhibition at the end of May. Its a bit of a logistical problem as I have to be in two places at the same time over that weekend, but with a plea for a little lee way I think I can do it……………..  I’ve just framed my favourite painting of recent times and it looks brilliant now its being shown off to its best advantage. Its called “Poppy appeal” and is full of vibrant warm colours. The frame and mount are pale in comparrison to it to make the painting zing out. I love it! And hope its soon going to a new home that loves it as much as I do…..
