Going into partnership with New Look

I knew last week that my painting would be hung over New Look in Ashby-de-la-Zouch for the month of the arts festival and that they were going up in the town last Sunday, so when Monday morning came I was straight in my car to go and view it.

And with a big cheesy grin saw it hanging there. You’d think I’d never seen my paintings hanging for the world to see, which of course I have, many times, its just this is a new experience, seeing such a large painting in such a prominent place. I couldn’t have picked a better spot for it, being on the main Market Street, and near where one of the important secondary roads joins it. So I’m a happy bunny!

Happy that the image that I created could be viewed easily from yards away across the road, and that the tones were clear enough to tell the tale of the picture. It works! YAY!!!
