When I started this latest painting of a waterfall I commented that I hadn’t done one for a while, but when I checked back it turned out that I hadn’t painted anything as big and powerful as this latest waterfall
I painted ‘By the light of the magical moon’ in acrylics some years ago with the white unicorn at the top of the night time cliffs.

Then a very small waterfall if you could call it that, in pastel, called ‘Woodland rest’

Which led on to me doing the same painting a few years later in acrylics called ‘Refreshing the spirit’

Then I painted ‘West Malling cascade’ in acrylics, which is one of my favourite places in Kent.

And now the latest painting which is by far the best waterfall I’ve ever painted ‘The silence beneath the thunder’,

I know which one I like best.
All of which has inspired me to do another waterfall now I’ve re-found a subject I adore…
