As the seasons turn and Autumn appears I adore looking at the cloudy skies and gorgeous moody sunsets.. I am reminded of some of the atmospheric paintings I’ve done..
‘Awakening the unified energies’ in watercolours of Stonehenge and the power of the energies around it..

‘A breath of fresh air’ in watercolours features a couple walking on a beach in the distance with a sky of clouds and the sea crashing in and the sunlight just breaking through to shine on the far horizon.

‘Mow Cop’ in watercolours with the path leading up to the folly overlooking the valley.

And ‘David and Martyn at the Royal Crescent, Bath – past, present and future’ painted in oils on canvas captures the beloved family and dogs as well as the windy weather of this very atmospheric painting, that I was commissioned to do with the instructions of no blues and no greens in the painting, which was interesting as a third of the painting is sky, and a third is grass! The clients loved this painting when I’d finished it, and I always look at this painting with love and affection…
So all of these paintings are different but they all feature the dramatic skies I love to paint….
