After a few weeks of working hard on my latest painting I’m ready to show it to you…
I love painting water …..because its such a challenge
and I love painting fire….because its such a challenge
So I thought I’d try and paint something that involved both..and decided the obvious subject being a mythical monster made of fire. I love the way the mountains fade into mists and the hint of fire in the air, the heat from the monster and the burning boat. The monsters burning feet and ice in the foreground, the sense of drama!
Its been one of the most challenging subjects to paint, but I am delighted with the finished painting – its in acrylics on paper (size 18 x 14 inches) and is called very aptly ‘Courage under fire’…..I love it, what do you think???
