Yesterday was one of those rare October sunny days when its too nice to be indoors and even though I am part way through a painting I thought it was a good idea to go out and enjoy the day as I can paint when its raining (case in point, being today as its currently raining…)
So we headed out to Allington lock on the River Medway, its not far from where we live and its always a joy to walk by the river and see all the different river boats moored along the bank there.
I’m always happy if I’m by water and the sun is shining, blue skies and warm sunshine to take photos so we walked for ages along the bank.
It was a joy to be out on such a lovely day especially as we had a delicious hot chocolate at the end of the walk to warm us up…
