The acrylic painting I did a few weeks ago ‘Realm of the fire bellied water baboon’ has been collected today… the woman who bought it loves my artwork and I love the conversations we have about art. We both share a love of art and find that our creativity bounces off each other with ideas. I love it when that happens. I love our conversations when we have them…
I was intrigued which parts of this painting she was caught by, as it wasn’t the bits that I expected… and listened avidly as she explained…
And as I took her into my studio to show her this painting that she had bought from me, but not seen in real life, she admired the painting that I am currently working on and she said “Don’t show me that one when you’ve finished it, I’m going to block you!!!! (On Facebook)” and I burst out laughing, because its was one of the best compliments I’ve had for ages. She loves my artwork SOOOOOOO much she wants to buy all of them! How nice is that! Happy artist, and happy customer!
