This week I sold a watercolour of mine… called ‘Refreshing greens’ …it was a painting I painted last year and loved the peaceful and calm aspect of it, with the stream and small foot bridge over it, the ford, and country lane disappearing off into the distance.. showing the best of early spring in English countryside… and hence the title!
When it was bought I was so pleased that the person had the immediate reaction to wanting to buy it.
And I was even more delighted with the photo I was sent this week of the actual painting hanging on the wall of their house….so lovely… to see my artwork making other people happy…
